Z9Pay is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a safe digital environment for all users. This policy describes how we handle your personal information to provide our VTU and utility payment services.

1. Information Collection

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your username, email address, and transaction history. For KYC verification, we may collect identification documents such as NIN or BVN to ensure account accountability.

2. Use of Information

Your data is used solely to process transactions, prevent fraud, and manage your credit limit. We do not share or sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Child Safety & CSAE Protection

Z9Pay maintains a Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We are committed to the safety of children in the digital finance space.

Child Protection Standards

Age Restriction: Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18 without parental consent.
CSAE Prevention: We prohibit the use of our platform for any transactions related to the production, distribution, or promotion of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Reporting: We actively monitor for suspicious financial patterns. Any account found attempting to facilitate exploitation will be permanently banned and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant local law enforcement.
Data Privacy for Minors: We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover such data has been collected, it is immediately purged from our servers.

4. Data Deletion

In compliance with Play Store guidelines, users can request account deletion. You can delete your profile and all associated data through the Profile section of the app. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our active servers, provided there are no outstanding legal or debt obligations.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (SSL) to protect your data during transmission. Your passwords and sensitive PINs are cryptographically hashed using modern algorithms to prevent unauthorized access.
